What an extraordinary year, 2012 brought loss and chaos, working away from home, conflict, a greenhouse, 2 different cars, a Cat, Black Ops 2 and death.

Prostate cancer kills 10,000 men a year in the UK and it took a very special friend from my life. I have been struggling with emotions and thoughts of mortality since.

He was an excellent Soldier, Father and Grandfather and I am missing him since he moved on. He showed me how to build shelters, lay traps for Rabbits ect.. fish, shoot, to respect and live off the land and most of all, that love isn't just a lyric in a children's rhyme.

He was a great character, his life was colourful...Goodnight, travel well my friend.
